A fully networked arena fighter, Altervis is planned to be for players who want fast paced precision third person combat, with support for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arena types. With the backend partially done, the game is driven by Fishnet networking solution for unity and features a Server Authoritative networking approach to avoid any tampering from players client side.
It leverages a server system that hosts and manages all lobby’s for players while keeping visibility of these lobbies separate from the players allowing only the server to handle all the lobby data. Each player will exclusively see the lobby they persist in.
